Job summary

Walkwood Church of England Middle School is seeking a dedicated candidate to join our school kitchen team. The role requires knowledge of basic food hygiene, a serving attitude, and the ability to work within school policies.

We value safeguarding, teamwork and flexibility on busy days, with strong communication with pupils, parents and staff. Training opportunities and support from the school community are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic food hygiene.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience of a workplace kitchen; understanding of effective cleaning methods.
• Experience of a school kitchen.
• Good written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Ability to follow kitchen procedures and regulations.
