Job summary

Hinchley Wood Primary School, part of the Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership, is seeking a friendly catering assistant to join its team. The role involves helping with food preparation, cooking and serving meals and snacks, and performing cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas.

We require an understanding of food hygiene and health and safety compliance; training can be provided where needed. This is a term-time, family-friendly position with competitive salary and benefits.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude to join our friendly catering team. Duties include assisting with food preparation, cooking and serving of meals and snacks and carrying out cleaning tasks within the kitchen and dining areas.

An understanding and awareness of food hygiene is required although training can be given, and an ability to adhere to health and safety regulations.
