Job summary

Holroyd Howe in the United Kingdom is seeking a friendly kitchen assistant to support preparation, service and presentation of food to a high standard. You will help maintain hygiene across kitchen and service areas, assist with labeling, temperature checks and allergen controls, and provide excellent service to pupils, staff and visitors.

This role requires a flexible, team-focused approach, a good knowledge of health and safety, and a willingness to contribute to events and after-hours

Qualifications

• Experience in contract or high-volume catering is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food to a high standard
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas
• Assist with food labelling, temperature checks, and allergen controls
• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors
• Set up and clear service areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience working within contract, or high-volume catering
• Possess a good Health & Safety knowledge
