Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a part-time Caretaker at 33 Montserrat Road, Lee on Solent, Gosport, Hampshire. The role involves weekly health and safety checks, general maintenance, cleaning, and grounds work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a caretaker or maintenance role is essential.
• Understanding of basic health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out weekly Health and Safety checks and risk assessments.
• Perform general caretaking duties: repairs, cleaning, landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain tools and equipment, restock as necessary for service delivery.
• Complete accurate daily work records and provide timely updates to customers.
