Job summary

Airmid Staffing Ltd is seeking experienced Care & Support Workers in Treorchy to help a young person with ASD/learning disabilities live active, independent lives. You will build relationships, support routines and help the client access the community.

We offer £16.25 per hour plus accrued holiday pay, flexible hours, and shifts available as full-time or part-time across days and weekends. You will have dedicated support from a Candidate Liaison Officer and 24-hour Clinician on call.

Care & Support Workers Wanted – Treorchy

Are you an experienced Care & Support Worker with a passion for supporting people with ASD/ learning disabilities to live fulfilling, active and independent lives? We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring people to support a young lady of 13, who has an autism diagnosis.

What will you be doing?

• Going for walks and exploring the local community


• Swimming and other activities


• Building positive, trusting relationships


• Developing routines and encouraging independence


• Supporting clients to access their community and social activities


• Helping people try new experiences and enjoy the things they love

This is person-centred support , where your time, encouragement and positive attitude can make a real difference.

What we offer

• £16.25 per hour + holiday pay


• Holiday pay is accrued up to 28 days per year, including bank holidays.


• Dedicated Candidate Liaison Officer – providing all-round support throughout your onboarding journey, from your first contact through to starting your role.


• Dedicated Coordinator – available to support you with the day-to-day aspects of your role and help keep things running smoothly.


• 24-hour Clinician Support – access to a clinician 24 hours a day for professional guidance and support whenever you need it.


• Flexible Hours Available

We have full-time and part-time positions available across: Overnights Weekends. We also have Friday night shifts available for those looking for additional hours or a regular night shift.
