Job summary

Airmid Staffing Ltd is seeking Care & Support Workers for Cardiff to assist a 10-year-old male with ASD and learning disabilities, helping him live active, independent days and providing parents with respite. You’ll be outdoors, build positive relationships, develop routines and support community activities, helping him try new experiences and enjoy the things he loves.

Care & Support Workers Wanted – Cardiff

£16.50 per hour + accrued holiday pay | Part-Time | 4 Hour Shifts,7 Days a Week

Are you an experienced Care & Support Worker with a passion for supporting people with ASD/ learning disabilities to live fulfilling, active and independent lives?

We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring people to join our team in the Cardiff area, supporting a 10 year old male to engage in daily play activities and provide his parents with respite.

What will you be doing?

• Being outdoors, walking, other activities
• Building positive, trusting relationships
• Developing routines and encouraging independence
• Supporting clients to access their community and social activities
• Helping people try new experiences and enjoy the things they love

This is person-centred support, where your time, encouragement and positive attitude can make a real difference.

What we offer

£16.50 per hour + holiday pay

Holiday pay is accrued up to 28 days per year, including bank holidays.

But we don’t just offer great rates — we make sure our staff feel supported too:

• Dedicated Candidate Liaison Officer – providing all-round support throughout your onboarding journey, from your first contact through to starting your role.
• Dedicated Coordinator – available to support you with the day-to-day aspects of your role and help keep things running smoothly.
• 24-hour Clinician Support – access to a clinician 24 hours a day for professional guidance and support whenever you need it.

Flexible Hours Available. We have part-time positions available across Weekdays and Weekends.
