Job summary

Cornerstone in Cumbernauld is seeking a part-time community support worker to help individuals live independently at home and in their local communities. Shifts range up to 16–30 hours per week, with potential for varied hours and occasional sleepovers.

You will build meaningful relationships, support with meals, personal care, finances and social activities, and help people pursue their goals in everyday life.

Qualifications

• No experience? We'll train you, pay you and support you every step of the way.

• You’ll gain funded, recognised qualifications as you work.
• Due to mobility needs, you must have a full manual UK drivers licence.
• Successful candidates will be asked to join the SSSC and work towards an SVQ with our Training Academy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare meals for individuals.
• Provide personal care and assist with daily living tasks.
• Administer medication as required.
• Help manage personal finances and budgeting.
• Support participation in swimming, bowling and community activities.
• Be part of the person’s daily life and goals.
