Job summary

Peregrine House in Tottenham is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and organise activities for all residents across daytime and evening sessions. You will support social, intellectual and spiritual well‑being, enabling participation and resident-led interests.

The role requires flexibility to accommodate outings, coordinate with the care team, maintain records, and help residents feel valued in a warm, technology‑minded home that blends comfort with innovation.

Responsibilities

• Plan daytime and evening activities.
• Deliver high level personal and psychological care to residents.
• Maintain communications with Manager, Senior Care staff, Chef and relatives.
• Complete records to a satisfactory standard and agree record keeping with the manager.
• Safeguard residents' rights and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate activities program with other services in the facility.
• Assess and develop resident activity goals for care plans.
• Encourage resident participation and document outcomes.
• Work with team to provide back-up for staff.
• Observe and maintain communication within teams and residents.
• Carry out additional duties and training as required.
