Regular part-time hours across weekdays, evenings and weekends, with potential to work extra hours. Full training and ongoing support provided.

Successful candidates will be caring, reliable and able to work as part of a team. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Your Role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide personalised support that promotes independence and enhances quality of life. Duties include:

• Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
• Assisting with meal preparation and encouraging healthy eating.
• Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Supporting daily routines and encouraging independence.
• Assisting with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home.
• Administering medication in line with care plans and company policies.
• Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes to the wider care team.
• Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
• Working alongside colleagues to deliver consistent, person-centred support.
• Following all health and safety and safeguarding procedures.

About the Role

Based in Brotton, supporting an individual with learning disabilities in their own home. We are recruiting two part-time Care Assistants to join an established and supportive care team. Regular part-time hours available across weekdays, evenings and weekends. Opportunity to work additional hours if desired. Full training and ongoing support provided.
