Job summary

Home Instead Marlborough & Test Valley in Pewsey, England, is hiring part-time Care Assistants to provide in-home support to older adults. Rotas are built around your regular availability, with morning shifts such as 7.30am–2pm and the option to work every other weekend.

Care Assistant Role

As a Care Assistant, you will support older adults in their own homes, helping them live independently and with dignity.

Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility support)

Meal preparation and support

Medication assistance

Companionship and emotional support

Pet care and assistance with social outings and appointments

Part-Time Working Hours

Part-time hours based on your preferred regular availability

Regular clients to support continuity of care, including paid introductions to clients before you start care visits.

Availability to work every other weekend is essential

Paid travel time

Mileage allowance of 45p per mile

Full training provided – no previous care experience required
