Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Cafe Supervisor for a major High Street brand. This part-time role is 20 hours per week with variable shifts.

You will supervise frontline staff, manage rotas, check deliveries, place stock orders, and ensure food hygiene and health & safety standards. As a key holder you’ll support the manager and help deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Checking deliveries and storing them promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive environment for staff.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain correct levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
