Job description

Job Title: Part Time - Brand Specialist (Field Sales Representative) - 3 days a week

Responsible to: Head of Retail North, Ireland & UK Independents

Location: Manchester - Selfridges, Trafford Centre and other Key Retailers

Business Context:

Unilever Prestige is a division of Unilever that focuses on the production and marketing of prestige beauty products. Our segment specifically caters to the premium and luxury beauty market, offering a range of high-quality and innovative products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote, demonstrate, and communicate to customers the brands in Selfridges, achieving ambitious retail sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional service and demonstrate excellent product and brand knowledge.
  • Deliver exceptional service-led customer consultations to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Plan and execute in-store trainings and events while highlighting stock challenges to your Line Manager.
  • Ensure a full SKU profile is always available.
  • Achieve sales targets while developing premium customer service and building customer loyalty.
  • Increase counter/account productivity to meet a minimum AUS 2.0 & AVS £65.
  • Learn fundamental product knowledge including features, benefits, usage, and application techniques.
  • Traffic stop and share our brand icons.
  • Maintain the counter/store quality and merchandising, ensuring appearance and cleanliness.
  • Submit daily and weekly reports to your Line Manager.
  • Develop positive relationships with department store floor managers and head office.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of skincare and beauty trends.
  • Bring new ideas to maximize sales and hit targets.
  • Arrange store activity and dual sites (as agreed with line manager) to drive sales and footfall.
  • Prepare and execute exciting in-store events contributing to sales targets.
  • Use technical knowledge and selling skills to influence customers in choosing the right products.
  • Proactively identify challenges with a solution-driven attitude.
  • Ensure high merchandising standards are maintained.
  • Manage samples effectively when available in store.
  • Proven experience in sales and achieving/exceeding targets.
  • Evidence of growing accounts.
  • Experience in FMCG and beauty/skincare is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal, numeracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent team player, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Working hours to meet peak trade requirements (Tuesday to Saturday).
