Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is assisting a fulfilment ecommerce centre in East Kilbride to recruit a part-time bookkeeper. The role focuses on day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts and payroll, delivering accurate financial information to the Directors.

You will work primarily with Xero, with Sage as an alternative, ensuring precise records and timely management information in a fast-paced environment. On-site parking and flexible hours are available.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping experience is required.
• Proficient with Sage or similar accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes, ensuring purchases/payments are recorded correctly.
• Process purchase and sales invoices, payments and receipts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain excellent debtor control management.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and month-end processes.
• Keep ledgers accurate and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payroll to ensure records and deductions are correct.
• Support directors with monthly management information.
• Assist with year-end accounts and provide information to external accountants.
• On-board clients and work with CASH CRM software.
