Job summary

9 2 3 JOBS Limited is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our engineering and technology company near Witney. This hands-on, part-time role focuses on keeping the day-to-day finances running smoothly.

You’ll manage VAT returns, monthly management accounts, bank reconciliations, and Xero bookkeeping, with scope to help with forecasting. Part-time (~15 hours/week) across three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience with VAT returns and reverse charge VAT.
• Ability to produce monthly management accounts and perform accruals.
• Comfort with Xero and basic financial modelling.
• Strong organisation and accuracy in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Process bills, invoices, payments; bank reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns and file them on time.
• Produce monthly management accounts with prepayments and accruals.
• Support month-end close and maintain records.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and supplier queries.
