Part-Time Bookkeeper/Office Administrator

Reigate, Surrey

Up to £32k pro rata plus benefits

3 days a week (18-21 hours)

Our client, a creative company based in central Reigate, is seeking a new team member to join their dynamic and forward-thinking office. This role involves working closely with the company owners, managing accounts payable/bookkeeping, and handling general office administration.

Responsibilities

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
  • Checking purchase orders and invoices.
  • Preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Reconciling bank statements and ensuring any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Working with the directors to help organise operations.
  • Assisting with administrative duties including filing, responding to emails, and general office duties.
  • Making sure the office runs smoothly.
  • Supporting freelancers and contractors with admin duties as required.

Experience/Skills

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Previous accounts/bookkeeping experience essential.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Good interpersonal and team communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • IT literate with knowledge of accounting software.

£28000 - £32000 per annum + free lunches, free parking, and more.
