Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking a part-time Biology Course Manager & Lecturer to join our team, delivering Biology teaching within the Dental Technology curriculum and shaping an outstanding learner experience.

You will coordinate course delivery, monitor learner progress and achievement, contribute to curriculum development and employer engagement, and work with tutors and stakeholders to reflect current skills needs while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.

Qualifications

Biology expert with industry experience and ideally A Level Biology teaching experience.
Passionate and inspiring teacher who engages learners and drives achievement.
Biology degree (BSc or above) with teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
Collaborative team player, organized, reliable and able to work across curriculum areas.
Digitally confident educator using classroom technology to enhance teaching and learner experience.
Committed to inclusive education and willing to share biology expertise across Science provision.

Responsibilities

Manage Biology study programmes and deliver Science/Biology teaching within the Dental Technology curriculum.
Coordinate course delivery, monitor learner progress, and support achievement.
Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and employer engagement.
