Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a driven part-time Barista to craft coffees and serve customers at one of our major High Street brand partners. The role is contracted to 16 hours per week and focuses on delivering first-class service.

You will learn brewing methods, keep the bar area clean, handle payments, and act as a positive brand ambassador. Previous customer service experience and hands-on coffee equipment knowledge are ideal, with opportunities to progress within the company.

Qualifications

• Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships.
• Have previous experience in customer service.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Asda and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
