Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Study Manager to support the AMITY NIHR project at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich. The role focuses on managing complex NHS research processes, participant engagement and high-quality delivery within a multi-stakeholder team.

The post is 0.5wte (0.4wte considered), based at Hellesdon Hospital, with occasional travel within NSFT footprint. Requires Masters level or equivalent NHS project experience and strong planning, communication and IT

Qualifications

• Masters level or equivalent proven experience implementing complex projects/change programmes in the NHS.
• Experience in NHS/public sector project management and delivery.
• Strong planning, organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day project management and coordination across all three work packages.
• Develop, maintain and monitor the detailed project plan to ensure milestones, deliverables and timelines are met.
• Coordinate study activities across the research team, lived experience partners, advisory group members and external collaborators.
• Arrange and support meetings, workshops, focus groups and co-design activities, including scheduling, logistics, materials and follow-up actions.
• Track progress across work packages and report regularly to the Co-Chief Investigators on delivery, risks and issues.
• Develop and maintain a risk matrix and support addressing risks to study delivery.
• Support governance and research processes, including ethical procedures and study documentation.
• Ensure research activities are accessible and inclusive for participants and supporters.
