Job summary

Glasgow Prestwick Airport is seeking Warehouse Operatives for Terminal E Cargo Operations on a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential permanent opportunities. The role is 16 hours per week with weekend and weekday shifts, paying £13 per hour (£27,040 pro rata per annum).

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Available to work 8-hour shifts at weekends and during the week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to airlines and partners
• Receive and process imported freight from aircraft
• Break down palletised freight safely and efficiently
• Load freight trailers and support sortation operations
• Conduct visual inspections of freight and report damage
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely, adhering to standards
• Remove pallet coverings safely
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety compliance
• Ensure equipment is fuelled or charged for readiness
• Assist across departments as required
