Glasgow Prestwick Airport is seeking an E-Commerce Warehouse Operative to join the Terminal E Cargo Operations team on a six-month fixed-term contract. The role offers 40 hours per week at a rate of £13 per hour, with the potential for permanent opportunities within a dynamic aviation environment.

You will support cargo handling, ensure safe and efficient freight movement, and be part of a team dedicated to high standards of service for airlines and customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Six-month fixed-term contract with potential permanent opportunities.
• Full-time role, 40 hours per week.
• £13 per hour (£27,040 pro rata per annum).

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to airlines and partners.
• Receive and process imported freight from aircraft.
• Break down palletised freight safely and efficiently.
• Load freight trailers and support sortation operations.
• Conduct visual inspections of freight and report damage or tampering.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely, adhering to compliance standards.
• Remove pallet coverings safely.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including FOD removal and housekeeping.
• Ensure all equipment is fueled or charged for operational readiness.
• Assist across departments as required.
