Job summary

Glasgow Prestwick Airport is seeking a part-time E-Commerce Warehouse Operative to join our cargo and logistics teams. The role runs 16 hours per week on a six-month fixed-term contract at Terminal E, with training provided to support learning and progression.

This hands-on position involves handling imports, palletised freight, and movement through the airport, contributing to safe, secure and efficient cargo operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to airlines and associated partners
• Receive and process imported freight from aircraft
• Break down palletised freight safely and efficiently
• Load freight trailers and support sortation operations
• Conduct visual inspections of freight and report any damage or tampering
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely, adhering to all compliance standards
• Remove pallet coverings (nets and polythene) safely
• Comply with health & safety regulations
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including FOD removal and housekeeping
• Ensure all equipment is fuelled or charged for operational readiness
• Assist across departments as required

Salary: £13 per hour this is equal to £27,040 (pro rata) per annum

Due to continued growth across our cargo, import, and e-commerce operations, we're looking for motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Operatives to join our expanding team at Terminal E on an initial six month fixed term contract.

You'll play a vital role in ensuring freight moves safely, securely, and efficiently through Glasgow Prestwick Airport.
