Job summary

ICAEW is partnering with a global manufacturing group to recruit a part-time Assistant Accountant based in Ross-on-Wye. The role involves reconciling financial accounts, managing fixed assets, and supporting year-end reporting with a mix of remote and office work (50/50) after settling in.

The ideal candidate is studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA/AAT or qualified by experience, with strong trial balance knowledge and excellent organisational skills. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar assistant role is essential.
• Understanding of trial balance is essential.
• Willing to study towards professional qualifications is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliations and accounting to include GRNI, balance sheet and P&L.
• Fixed asset management processes and financial projects.
• Support year-end reporting and audits, including HMRC audits.
• Assist with treasury management and ad-hoc reporting.
