Job summary

The Base in the UK is seeking a part-time Community Engagement Coordinator to develop and deliver engaging arts programs across The Base’s venues and community sites. You will manage workshops, collaborate with schools, and help grow participation within learning projects.

You will work 25 hours per week, report to the Gallery Manager, and contribute to inclusive, youth-focused activities while assisting with administration and budget planning.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have a visual arts and/or craft background.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience engaging with people of all ages, including young people.

Responsibilities

• organising enriching and exciting experiences for everyone.
• delivering engaging and innovative programmes of work that align with our objectives.
• work closely with the fundraising team to ensure these projects are planned and budgeted.
• Administration, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, supporting projects from start to finish.
