Job summary

The Base in Newbury invites applications for a Community Engagement Coordinator. You will help grow engagement work, creating and delivering innovative visual arts activities for learners of all ages, with a focus on young people.

You will manage projects from start to finish, collaborate with the Learning and Participation team, support budgeting and reporting, and share enthusiasm for arts education through in-person and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Visual arts and/or craft background.
• Strong organisational skills and proactive approach.
• Experience coordinating projects and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a range of visual arts projects and activities.
• Deliver and facilitate workshops for diverse audiences.
• Work with the fundraising team to plan, budget and monitor projects.
• Collaborate with the Learning and Participation team for schools and local groups.
