Job summary

Coppice Valley Primary School in Harrogate is seeking an experienced Advanced Teaching Assistant for a part-time role (13.5 hours per week) on Mondays and Tuesdays, 8.45am-3.30pm.

You will support children to access learning, adapt activities, deliver targeted interventions and contribute to lunchtime supervisory duties.

The successful candidate will work with teachers to create a caring, inclusive environment and help pupils develop confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience of working with or caring for children.
• Ability to adapt approaches and resources to support learners.
• Builds positive and respectful relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Strong commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, adapt and review learning activities and targeted interventions.
• Provide personalised programmes to support pupil progress.
• Support midday supervisory duties and promote a safe, inclusive lunchtime environment.
• Work closely with teachers and staff to enable pupils to access the curriculum and engage in learning.
