Job summary

Moat House Care Home in Burbage near Hinckley, Leicestershire, invites applications for an Activities Coordinator. You’ll plan and deliver a varied programme of group and individual activities to enhance residents' wellbeing and social engagement, tailored to their interests and life experiences.

You will work to ensure activities are delivered safely, maintain records, and support a welcoming, inclusive environment. Alternate weekends availability is required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Ability to plan and deliver group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents' interests, abilities and life experiences.
• Deliver engaging activities to enhance wellbeing, promote independence and social interaction.
• Ensure activities are delivered safely by following Health & Safety and infection prevention procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity records and adapt programmes to changing resident needs.
