Keeler Recruitment is assisting a Norwich-based business in recruiting an Accounts Receivable Clerk on a part-time basis. The role focuses on the day-to-day AR duties within a supportive finance team, with invoices, payments and ledger management handled in office in Norwich.

The ideal candidate will have AR or sales ledger experience, good attention to detail and proficiency with Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable or sales ledger.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Raising, processing and issuing customer invoices
• Posting and allocating incoming customer payments
• Maintaining accurate sales ledger records
• Reconciling customer accounts and investigating discrepancies
• Monitoring outstanding balances and following up on overdue payments when required
• Responding to customer queries relating to invoices and payments
• Processing credit notes and making account adjustments
• Supporting the wider finance team with general administration and ad hoc tasks
