Job summary

Fisher German is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Rural Client Accounting team. The role focuses on processing supplier invoices on Verify, ensuring invoices are coded and processed promptly while handling supplier enquiries.

This part-time role (20 hours, hybrid) is based in Ashby de la Zouch and includes a discretionary bonus, generous holiday entitlement, enhanced parental leave, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication with stakeholders via phone and email.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise with excellent time management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in delivery of work.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Xero.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for other members of the team.
• Oversight of Rural PINV inbox.
• Coding and processing of invoices through Verify platform.
• Dealing with general enquiries and resolving supplier queries via email or telephone.
• Liaising with property manager teams to resolve delays in coding and authorisations to ensure timely settlement.
• Setting up new supplier records, including supplier identity verification checks.
• General administration with regards supplier correspondence.
