Fisher German is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to manage client portfolios and supplier invoices using the Verify platform, based at Ashby de la Zouch with hybrid working.

You will handle coding invoices, respond to supplier queries, and support the rural client accounting team, joining a generous benefits package including holiday entitlement, a discretionary bonus, and family leave options. Experience with Xero is welcomed; strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

The Team & Focus of the Role

At Fisher German our people and clients are at the heart of what we do. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading Rural Client Accounting team in a role where the focus will be the financial management of a portfolio of clients and the properties held within the portfolios.

This role will include responsibility for processing supplier invoices over various Client portfolios on our invoicing software platform Verify, ensuring invoices are coded and processed in a timely manner, as well as dealing with general enquiries and resolving supplier queries.

This is role is offered as a part-time (20 hours, Monday to Friday) permanent position, based at our office in Ashby de la Zouch. We can be flexible on the exact working hours. We also operate a hybrid working policy.

In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:

• Provide cover for other members of the team

• Liaising with property manager teams to resolve delays in coding and authorisations to ensure timely settlement
• Setting up new supplier records, including supplier identity verification checks
• General administration with regards supplier correspondence

The successful candidate will have:

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact and deal with stakeholders both via phone and email
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise, with excellent time management skill
• Strong attention to detail, be diligent and precise in how you deliver work
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Working knowledge of Xero
