A small, friendly business in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant for a part-time role (25 hours a week). Responsibilities include invoice processing, credit control, payroll, and assisting with month-end routines. Ideal for candidates with experience in small businesses and familiarity with accounting software.
We are currently assisting a small, friendly business based in Milton Keynes to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. The position is part time 25 hours a week over 5 days so perfect for school runs ect.
Duties to include:
• Process sales and purchase invoices
• Credit Control
• Deal with supplier payments and statement reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Process expenses / credit card transactions
• Prepare and post Accounts Payable payments
• Assist Financial Accountant with month-end routines
• Payroll, including RTI on a monthly basis
• Completion of VAT Returns
• Payments by BACS, CHAPS, Cheque, Direct Debit and Standing Orders
• Matching invoices to delivery notes
Skills:
• Experience working for Small businesses
• Systems experience – Word, Excel, Sage, and Iris if possible
