Part Time Accounts Assistant - £14.000 plus benefits - Colchester

Your new company

To support exciting growth plans, our client, a well-established organisation in Colchester, Essex, with UK and international clientele, are looking to recruit a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join their finance team, working on a hybrid basis at their offices in Colchester, Essex.

Your new role

Working in a team environment and reporting to the Head of Finance, the Part-Time Accounts Assistant will have a good board and varied role with duties that include:
Working on Sage Line 50 and Excel
Setting up new supplier accounts and processing supplier invoices
Raising invoices
Account reconciliation
Expenses and credit card statement reconciliations
Assisting with VAT returns
Assisting with month-end reporting
Answering the telephone
Data entry
Working in a friendly team environment and supporting each other.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience of Sage Line 50, Excel and Word.
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to work to a deadline
Good communication skills, verbal and written
A team player
