Job summary

Manchester City Football Club is seeking a part-time, fixed-term educator to deliver education programmes for players in the Professional Development Phase at City Football Academy in Manchester. You will teach, assess and plan learning, aligning study with football commitments and collaborating with schools and internal stakeholders.

You will deliver BTEC Sport and related qualifications, tracking progress and providing tailored support to players across the academy.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or QTLS, or equivalent.
• Experience teaching or tutoring young people in an education, academy, sport or post-16 setting.
• Knowledge of BTEC Sport or other education programmes; ability to plan, deliver and assess learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BTEC Sport and other qualifications to players.
• Plan, deliver and assess learning; track progress and report.
• Identify additional support needs and collaborate to support player development.
