Job summary

ERM is hiring a Part-Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or QBE Management Accountant to join our Northern Europe unit in Edinburgh. You will support monthly and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and intercompany reporting while liaising with various budget holders and colleagues across the region.

Qualifications

• Part-Qualified with ACA/CIMA/ACCA or QBE
• Experience in management accounting and month-end close processes

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and year-end management accounts processes including pre-flash, flash, and close for Northern European org codes / Business Units.
• Prepare/review balance sheet reconciliations and liaise with team to clear unreconciled items.
• Prepare overhead reports and discuss variances with support service budget holders on a regular basis.
• Assist with the annual budget process.
• Periodic and ad hoc forecasting and analysis.
• Provide financial information for proposals as needed.
• UK, EU & Ireland VAT/CIS returns and National Statistics reporting.
• Intercompany reconciliations and liaison with ERM OpCos on intercompany reporting and settlements.
• Influence and lead junior staff to improve accuracy and processes
