Job summary

Sewell Wallis is recruiting a Part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant for a well-established B2B subcontracting business from the Group's Shared Service Centre in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. You will join a collaborative finance team, take ownership of key management accounting tasks and benefit from study support and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Finalist or part-qualified accountant with exposure to management accounts.
• Experience in a high-volume organisation or shared service environment.
• Strong communication across departments and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements in finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing timely management accounts for multiple entities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly VAT returns.
• Build relationships with divisional finance teams and Group functions.
• Support audits and year-end reporting, streamline processes into monthly tasks.
• Review and improve finance processes and controls; document procedures.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects within the Finance Team and Group.
