Job summary

Nigel Wright Group is recruiting a Part Qualified Management Accountant for a large, multi-site manufacturing group, offering hybrid working and study support.

You will deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting, analyse labour, overheads and production variances, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. If you enjoy operating at the interface of finance and operations, this role offers development and strong stakeholder exposure, with ACCA/CIMA progression encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role.
• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with study support available.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to challenge and investigate

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting and analysis.
• Analyse labour costs, operational variances, yields and production performance.
• Produce overhead reporting and departmental cost analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including labour modelling.
• Investigate variances and work with operational teams to identify root causes.
• Review and support cost standards and key performance metrics.
• Assist with capital expenditure analysis and investment appraisals.
• Partner with non-finance stakeholders across manufacturing and operations.
• Provide insight that supports continuous improvement initiatives and business performance improvements.
