Job summary

Anderson Knight is partnering with a growing business in Renfrew to recruit a Part–Qualified Assistant Accountant. This is an exciting chance to join a forward-thinking finance team, supporting various activities as you progress through your professional qualification and gain broad exposure across the function.

You'll assist with management accounts, month-end tasks, reconciliations and financial reporting, while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver accurate information and drive

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by Experience.
• Experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role.
• Good understanding of management accounting and month-end processes.
• Experience preparing reconciliations and supporting financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management accounts and supporting reports.
• Support month-end processes: journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support cash flow reporting and analysis.
