Job summary

Meraki Talent Ltd in Glasgow is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years’ experience in an accountancy firm. You can be starting a professional qualification or already partly through ACCA/ICAS, and you must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The role starts with remote working and equipment provided. You will prepare financial and management accounts, assist with VAT and taxation returns, help with systems improvements, and build strong relationships

The position of Part Qualified Accountant requires an individual that has operated within an Accountancy Firm for a minimum of 2 years.

The position of Part Qualified Accountant requires an individual that has operated within an Accountancy Firm for a minimum of 2 years. The business is open to applications from individuals looking to start a professional accountancy qualification or part way through their studies.

The role will begin as remote working with all the necessary equipment provided to allow for a professional and efficient remote onboarding.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

• Reporting to the Business Advisory Manager with a dotted line to Senior Management & Partner level
• Facilitating an extremely wide and diverse portfolio of clients
• Preparation of financial accounts
• Preparation of management accounts
• Assisting with VAT and taxation returns
• Assisting clients with systems development & improvements
• Building relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

• 2 years' experience of operating within an Accountancy Firm – ESSENTIAL
• Part Qualified ACCA/ICAS
• Qualified by experience and willing to study towards ACCA/ICAS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
