Job summary

Office Angels in Sutton, SW London, is seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant to work across the full project lifecycle within a design-led practice. You will contribute to design development, planning, and technical detailing across residential, commercial, mixed-use and hospitality sectors.

There is a clear path for progression with support towards Part III qualifications and professional registration. Salary is up to 38k, with a full-time, permanent contract and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Part II qualified Architectural Assistant.
• Exceptional Part I candidates with significant UK architectural experience may be considered.
• Strong design flair and technical drawing capability.
• Working knowledge of UK planning legislation and building regulations.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with SketchUp and/or MicroStation advantageous.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work across all RIBA project stages from initial concept through to completion.
• Produce high-quality design, planning and technical drawing packages.
• Assist with planning applications, building regulations submissions and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.
• Attend site visits, surveys and project meetings.
• Support the successful delivery of projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Contribute to design development and technical detailing across a variety of project sectors.
