Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant in Bradford. You will contribute from concept to completion, working both independently and within a tight-knit team, with opportunities to lead a small project group as the practice expands.

The role suits someone with RIBA Part 2 (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' design office experience, proficient CAD (Archicad preferred) and flexible to switch between solo and team work; hybrid working from Bradford is offered.

• RIBA Part 2, or qualified as an Architect or Architectural Technologist
• At least 2 years' experience in a design office
• Confident with CAD, ideally Archicad, and comfortable with standard office software
• Flexible and adaptable, happy to switch between self-led work and team projects

Responsibilities

• You’ll be involved in projects from concept through to completion, working independently and as part of a close team.
• As the practice grows, you’ll have the chance to take on more responsibility, including leading a small team.

Job Title: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Location: Bradford

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

A well-established, multi-award-winning architectural practice is looking for a talented designer to join its friendly, fast-moving team. With a quarter of a century behind it, it is RIBA Chartered and a corporate member of CIAT. It is busy, growing, and taking on projects across the UK.

The practice

The practice is best known for transport design, particularly zero-emission bus depots, both brand-new facilities and the conversion of existing sites to electric and hydrogen fleets. It also works in education, commercial and residential. Recent projects include multi-million-pound depot schemes, and the team is carbon-neutral certified and committed to sustainable design. It is a collaborative studio where people work together and see projects through from first sketch to completion.

About you
