Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to support a Birmingham-based healthcare studio. The role involves contributing to a range of healthcare projects from concept through to construction, with emphasis on planning and detailed drawing packages.

The candidate should hold a RIBA Part 2 qualification and have UK practice experience, ideally with healthcare exposure and Revit proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have completed RIBA Part 2.
• UK practice experience after Part 1.
• Healthcare sector project experience desirable.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Excellent drawing and design skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver healthcare projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare and develop planning schemes to detailed construction drawings.
• Produce technical specifications, tender, and working drawing packages.
• Ensure high quality delivery of drawings.

They are on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their Healthcare team in their Birmingham studio.

Duties for the role of Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Help deliver on a range of healthcare projects from inception through to completion
• Prepare and develop planning scheme to detailed construction drawings
• Produce technical specifications, tender, and working drawing packages
• Ensure high quality delivery of producing drawings

Requirements for the role of Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Successfully completed your RIBA Part 2 qualification
• Relevant post Part 1 qualification experience as an Architectural Assistant within a UK practice
• Relevant Post RIBA Part 2 qualification experience in a relevant role is desirable
• Experience working on projects within the healthcare sector
• Proficiency with Revit
• Excellent drawing and design skills
• Ability to work well collaboratively and independently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
