Job summary

Portsmouth City Council is seeking a Parking Suspension Officer to process and coordinate suspension requests, arrange quotations and maintain accurate records across the city. You will advise customers by phone, email and in person, working closely with residents, businesses and council departments to ensure compliance with legal requirements and service standards.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and organised with experience in administration and customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence due to regular driving.
• Physically fit for lifting signage and street furniture.
