Job summary

Pertemps London is recruiting for an experienced Parking Services Officer in London to process PCN correspondence, challenges, representations and appeals in accordance with Traffic Management Act 2004 and related legislation.

The role involves managing parking bay suspensions, waivers and basic financial admin within Parking Services, working with internal teams, enforcement agents and external stakeholders. Temporary contract with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and associated traffic and parking legislation.
• Understanding of the PCN enforcement process, including challenges, representations, appeals and adjudication.
• Experience assessing evidence and making balanced, defensible decisions based on legislation, policy and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and process correspondence relating to PCNs throughout the enforcement process.
• Assess and determine challenges and representations, accepting or rejecting cases per legislation, policies and procedures.
• Ensure PCNs and related correspondence are processed within statutory timescales.
• Liaise with London Tribunals and determine cases to be contested at adjudication.
• Prepare case files and evidence for tribunal hearings.
• Attend adjudication hearings and represent the Council's position.
• Administer PCN recovery and enforcement processes accurately and efficiently.
