Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Parking Engineer in London for a 6-month contract. The role pays £28–£30 per hour and involves receiving, reviewing and progressing applications for disabled parking bays through assessment, consultation, and implementation stages.

You will assist the Traffic Engineering team with general traffic and parking enquiries, site visits, data gathering, record keeping and scheme administration, and undertake parking investigations to design and deliver minor schemes.

• Receive, review and process applications for disabled parking bays, progressing through assessment and implementation stages.
• Assist Traffic Engineering with general traffic and parking enquiries, site visits, data gathering, record keeping and scheme administration.
• Undertake parking investigations and assist in design and delivery of minor parking schemes, including waiting and loading restrictions, parking bays and other local parking improvements.
• Respond clearly and promptly to correspondence and enquiries from residents, elected Members and other stakeholders on disabled parking bays and general parking matters.
