Job summary

We Are Wychavon District Council in Pershore is seeking a Parking Administration Officer on a permanent basis. The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with a salary of £26,847–£29,542 per annum.

You will join the Parking Services Administration Team to support parking services across eight councils, handling appeals, debt registrations and statutory processes. The successful candidate will analyse information, interpret legislation and learn through structured training.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and investigative abilities with the ability to interpret evidence and legislation.
• Proficient with IT systems and able to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and decide on parking-related correspondence in appeals processes.
• Register unpaid Penalty Charge Notices as debts through the Traffic Enforcement Centre.
• Ensure all statutory procedures are carried out accurately and within deadlines.
