Job summary

Golden Square Caravan & Camping Park in Helmsley, North Yorkshire, is seeking a Park Warden Couple (Seasonal) to help run the 5-star, family-friendly park. You will manage guest bookings, greet visitors, and help maintain high standards across facilities.

The roles include evening patrols and on-call duties, with accommodation provided (static caravan). A full UK driving license and flexibility are required for this hands-on seasonal position starting February 2027.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Guest Services: Manning reception/shop, handling bookings, greetings, and enforcing site rules when needed.
• Facilities & Site Maintenance: Clean blocks, perform gardening tasks, assist with general upkeep and minor driving tasks.
• Teamwork: Work with management and staff, maintain a positive attitude, help colleagues as needed.

Hours

• Approx. 4-5 days per week
• Includes weekends, bank holidays, and evening patrols/on-call duties
• Flexibility required during busy periods

Role Purpose

To assist in the day-to-day running of our 5-star, award-winning, family-friendly touring park. The successful applicant(s) will provide exceptional customer service, maintain high standards across the site, and contribute to the smooth and efficient running of all facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services

• Manning reception/shop, answering calls, emails, and handling bookings (online and telephone)
• Greeting and assisting visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Enforcing site rules politely but firmly when required
• Carrying out evening patrols and being available for on-call duties

Facilities & Site Maintenance

• Cleaning toilet/shower blocks to a consistently high standard
• Undertaking maintenance and gardening tasks i.e grass cutting, hedge cutting
• Assisting with general site upkeep (driving machinery required) and monitoring facilities

Teamwork

• Working closely with the park`s management and team members
• Maintaining a positive, proactive, and helpful attitude at all times
• Supporting colleagues with a `muck in` approach when needed

Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Computer literate (desktop), with confidence in handling online booking systems and emails
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fit, active, and capable of carrying out cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Previous experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving license required
