Job summary

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Open Space Team in the ranger service to support countryside recreational and environmental educational opportunities in our country parks for visitors and the local community.

The successful candidate will work outdoors, engage with the community to run events at our parks, and the council promotes a bilingual workforce with English and Welsh. Applications from all backgrounds are welcome.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Open Space Team in the ranger service. The successful candidate will support the provision of countryside recreational and environmental educational opportunities in our country parks, for visitors and the local community. We are looking for an individual who has hands on experience in working in the outdoors and has an enthusiasm for the benefits open spaces can provide.

As well as maintaining our Country Parks, the successful candidate will engage with the community to run and facilitate events that bring people to our parks.
