Job summary

Belfast City Council is seeking a patrol and enforcement role across parks, open spaces, cemeteries and other council sites. You will promote responsible behaviour, enforce by‑laws, and report antisocial behaviour.

You will record incidents, complete safety reports, liaise with PSNI, and work with colleagues and partners to keep public areas safe and accessible. Applicants must have a full NI driving licence (or access to suitable transport) and at least one year of relevant experience in

• Experience dealing with the public face‑to‑face.
• Experience in security, patrols or enforcing regulations.
• Experience in enforcement or regulatory duties.
• Full UK driving licence or access to transport.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patrols of parks, open spaces, cemeteries and council sites.
• Promote responsible behaviour and enforce by‑laws and regulations.
• Identify and report antisocial behaviour, vandalism and littering.
• Record incidents and maintain inspection and safety records.
• Coordinate with PSNI and partner agencies as required.
• Open/close buildings and carry out security checks.
