Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide Newcastle Depot is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a night-shift team. You will unload and load parcels, sort them for delivery routes, and prepare trailers, while delivering a dependable service to customers.

The role offers a starting salary of £25,201 per year with pay increases after six months and potential to earn up to £30,000 with overtime. Overtime and weekend premiums apply, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Hours: 32 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 00:30 - 08:00 & Saturday 00:30 - 09:00 .

Why this role pays off

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Unloading / Loading parcels
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail
