Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Bodmin is hiring for a shift role on a 5.5 hour day pattern (Tue–Sat, 03:30am–09:00am) with overtime opportunities. The position offers a starting salary of £25,201 per year, rising to £27,561 after 6 months and a potential to earn up to £30,000 per year with overtime.

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour


• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour


• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)


• Saturday Weekend Premium +£4.39 applied to contracted hours.

• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)


• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Unloading / Loading parcels


• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport


• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What We’re Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points


• Someone with good attention to detail


• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg


• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused


• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
