Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is hiring a Delivery Driver on a permanent basis in Rotherham. You will sort parcels, plan routes, perform safety checks, and deliver to homes and businesses while providing friendly, dependable service.

Starting salary £25,201 per year (£12.71/hour) with progression to £27,561 after six months and potential to reach £30,000 with overtime. Benefits include pension, generous holiday allowance, medical cover, and uniform.

Hours: 32 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday, 15:00-21:00

• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What you’ll be doing

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks

• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What we’re looking for

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
